Guy Chiapponi
Guy's musical career began in 5th grade playing trumpet and singing in Glee Club. In college Guy studied jazz piano, jazz trumpet, and jazz voice. He also focused on classical voice, theory, sight singing, and ear training.
Guy has instructed piano, bass, trumpet, and voice privately for 25 years. He has also worked as a K-12 music teacher directing all aspects of music both instrumentally, and vocally. Throughout his 47-year professional career Guy has played bass, harmonica, trumpet; He has sung in a variety of bands and piano bars from Boston to Key Largo to Reno, NV. Guy formed North Shore A Capella in 1979. North Shore A Capella won the national A Capella championship in 1991 and recently appeared on NBC’s Sing-Off and finished in the Top 10 of the United States.
Guy has performed with groups such as The Temptations, Frankie Valli, Roberta Flack, The O’ Jays, Al Jareau, The Platters, The Drifters, Smoky Robinson and Jay Leno. In 2011, Guy was chosen the best soloist at The Harmony Sweepstakes in Boston.
Haiyan Feng
Haiyan is a certified tea master from China, Guzheng musical performer and recording artist and Reiki master.
Since 1992, Haiyan has practiced the Buddhist and Taoist Philosophy, Qi Gong, Meditation, Tibetan Chanting, Dance/movement, and Energy healing arts.
In 2010, Haiyan developed a self healing program The Way of Lotus Tea Ceremony which is a ritual of inner peace for tranquillity, harmony, joy and prosperity. This program combined the tea ceremony, yoga breathing, dance/movement, music and art, and LaHoChi healing (a powerful energy healing from Holy Spirit).Thru many years of practicing the tea ceremony and exercising the mind and body every day, Haiyan has found a magic key opening the door to a happy healthy life. Haiyan has been invited to speak about Chinese culture and perform the tea ceremony and Guzheng music at many locations, at universities, corporations, healing & wellness centres and art and music groups. She has an MBA from UCONN School of Business (Executive MBA Program) and a BS from Jilin University, China.
